It is said that the first impression is the last impression. Your website is the first impression to your potential targeted customers...and you have around 10-15 seconds to make that impression. I design with not only that in mind, but with also accessibility of your website in mind as well.
Using selective color combinations to fit your business services, products or existing company colors in order to capture mood and emotion, along with many years of design experience I also consider the following: From any page on the site, can a new visitor to the site easily and intuitively find their way around the site? Will that visitor feel comfortable moving around on your site? Can they find the Home page again? Is your contact information readily accessible from the pages where it is needed the most? Most importantly, can the visitor quickly and easily locate the product and/or services you are selling?
All these questions and more are taken into consideration when I design and build your website. The importance of design should never be underestimated. A good-looking site will influence the user's initial perception of the site's value and encourage them to explore the site further.
search engine optimization & marketing
Using what's known as "organic" Search Engine Optimization techniques, I build your website using this approach. Adding these techniques as I build, rather than after, helps improve your website rankings without having to pay for it. Organic SEO keeps your website appearing on the search result pages for a long time because your website gives the search engines exactly what they want -- relevancy. Relevancy is something you cannot achieve by "tricks" or by paying for it. And as I add content to your site, I make sure that certain "keywords" on your page are relevant to the keywords behind your page.
I certainly are not against any "pay-per-click" programs and can help you with this as well, but I feel using organic methods will eventually achieve the same results for a lot less money.
I can also help with marketing your website into the Search Engines either locally, by state or world wide by exploring competitor's websites and using keyword searches, setting up Google Analytics for your website statistics such as amount of visitors, key pages within your site and what Search Engines visitors are using to find you and also by using reciprocal links to other websites all to help improve the rankings of your website.

Although I am not designing full Flash websites yet, Flash can be used to capture a prospective client’s attention, while driving home a direct benefit of a product or service, or animating a diagram to explain complex issues (a picture is worth a thousand words after all), or simply enhance the customer experience and project a lasting feeling of quality.
As an example, using a Flash animation on certain main pages within your site instead of just static images or text on your page, lifestyle or business images could change, as could compelling messages or words, all in a timed sequence. The page which could have looked "text heavy" and static would now be rich with imagery and still impart the desired messages, in such a way that each message can capture the prospect’s interest.
All my Flash animations are designed to download fast, so as not to delay your website page from displaying all the other information located on it.
complex forms & database development
Some websites require forms ranging from simple ones that gather a viewers contact information along with a short message to more complex ones that gather a series of information (such as a survey form), to even more robust ones that gather and collect information from a database. I am able to integrate any of these into your website and also develop the database for you if your form needs to run off of this.
Using mostly PHP scripting and MySQL database development, I can customize any type of forms to fit in with your website goals. From gathering personal information through a secure server, to questionaires that help your company gather important client information, or creating a fuction to let viewers upload files or images to your server, I can help make the interactive experience that much better.
